Monogram Cake Toppers: Item descriptions as I promised!

The letters are sterling silver plating and due to this plating, they will tarnish and need to be cleaned if not properly cared for. The letters should be put back into plastic poly bag or airtight bag to prevent tarnishing. If letters are left in original packaging, they will not tarnish - at least not for a long time. We have some letters still in package from over 1 year ago and it has not tarnished.The Crystal Covered letters are covered on one side of the letter.The prongs are metal and also sterling silver plated. The prongs could becut to whichever length you would like with metal cutters.The prongs are about the 4 1/2" long on the large letters and 3"on the smaller letters.
